The house traces its origins to its founder, a discreet collector of rare scents and objets d’art, whose life was defined by an appreciation for the exceptional. From the spice markets of the

East to the ateliers of Grasse, his travels were guided not by destination, but by discovery—seeking out the world’s most exquisite raw materials and the stories they carried. Over time, fragrance became more than a passion; it became a language through which he understood culture, memory, and identity.

Origin of NÖUD

Noud is oud, rebalanced.

It is built on the idea of “nude” as clarity—stripping away the heaviness and density usually associated with oud, without diluting its identity. The result is oud that feels open, lighter in texture, and easier to wear day-to-day, while still holding its natural depth and presence.

Noud is not a single interpretation of oud, but a range of expressions built on the same principle: keeping oud intact, but adjusting its weight. Some are fresher and more airy, some smoother and more rounded, others slightly warmer—but all remain controlled, transparent, and wearable.
